...to provide for and oversee the maintenance, repair, preservation and upkeep of the NEW HAVEN HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL located at Whalley and West Park Avenues, New Haven, CT. This proposed corporation hopes to
1. Record, preserve and disseminate the history of the Memorial,
2. Evaluate the physical condition of the site and structures, and develop a plan and cost estimate for ongoing maintenance and upkeep.
3. Undertake activities which encourage residents and visitors to visit the memorial
4. Support and conduct an annual Holocaust commemoration event
5. Encourage educators in the Greater New Haven area to utilize the potential of this memorial to teach about the Holocaust and encourage prejudice reduction, and
6. Raise, invest and manage an endowment to finance these activities.
